I have one in my 1964 SC/S but the fabric is burned out. Any idea where to get a replacement?

I have one in my 1964 SC/S but the fabric is burned out. Any idea where to get a replacement? You can use Coleman mantles available at Walmart, hardware stores, etc.

VTS sells higher BTU mantles that withstand burnout a little better.

I have one of these. I think it's my favorite part of the trailer. Haven't fired it up yet, but the mantle on it must be new. It looks pristine.

I have one which I cleaned and polished so that it looks nice too, but I find out I am missing the piece that screws to the lamp and supports the mantle. In other words inside the shade is a threaded piece but no ceramic piece for the mantle. Anyone know where to find this? I cannot seem to locate much information.

I bought one from someone on this board in "like new" condition but the ceramic part is broken in two pieces. Pretty sure I shouldn't be putting any kind of glue in an area where there is flame! They are supposed to send a replacement but it's been a while and I've given up. So I too would appreciate a source for that part.

Google humphrey gas light parts and you should come up with multiple suppliers. Amazon sells the ceramic part that the mantle fastens on. I think they run 5 or 10 dollars new.

I have one of the ceramic parts that I just found with an old funny looking gas lamp. It's that kind found in Aristocrats with the cone shaped globe...

Be careful buying the ceramic burner nose. The threads are different with each brand. One of my lamps even has an aluminum nose. Very interesting.
