Definitely man glAMPing, but in a different category. I think it might come under Jack Kerouac. And with an over the top coolness factor.

LOL! I didn't really think the guitar was a guy but I thought you meant guitars were a guy thing. It think I understand now, Cowcharge is offically a guy glamper. Sorry, the heat has gotten to me. Or the plumbing. Or both!

Plumbing always does that, especially in the heat...

Cow, we want a demo from YOU! Not a snowball's chance in hell, nuh-uh. I never play in front of anybody. I'm so bad, I'm even embarrassed to play in front of myself, so when I'm playing I listen to Hendrix on headphones.

Wow, thanks! That's great! They had them at our local music store a couple of years ago and they were $50! I try to support our local stores but sometimes it's not possible.

I plugged it into my 5.1 surround computer speakers (just using two speakers and the subwoofer) and it sounded very good (The amp's only got like a 3-inch speaker, which you can overwhelm if you crank it up too high). Even my bass sounded good through it with the computer speakers. It runs off a 9v battery (or a wall wart), but as soon as I figure out the simplest (cheapest) way to convert 12v to 9v I'll run it off the camper batteries. You can't lose for 20 bucks. I do miss my 100-watt Fender amp, though.

I ordered an aqua one! Although, I don't usually "plug in" when camping, I do have an acoustic/electrified Alvarez. My Yamaha acoustic has a pick up in it, too so maybe I will "plug in" now.
I have a Gorilla and a Fender practice amp and then I have my big Crate keyboard/bass amp. I also have a Yamaha mixer and 15" JBL's. None of those will ever go camping with me.

LOL! I'm a Yamaha fan, too. I just don't ride mine. I have an acoustic Yamaha 6 string that I've had since I was 16. I have an 88 key Yamaha electric piano/keyboard, and a Yamaha 77 key keyboard, a Yamaha Clavinova in the living room.
I'm actually an acoustic girl, folky and blues.
I have more instruments than some music stores. 2 mandolins, a banjo, fiddle, electric bass, electric guitar, acoustic/electric guitar, classical acoustic, 2 clarinets (one's a wooden Yamaha), 1 silver flute, 1 glass flute, autoharp, tenor ukes, baritone uke, concert uke, several soprano ukes... I know I'm forgetting something... oh, Santana bongos and conga. The latter just looks good in my living room. And a vintage Ensoniq Mirage keyboard.
My son has 3/4 Yamaha acoustic guitar that is really nice for traveling, baritone uke, tenor uke, soprano uke, fiddle, djembe. Only thing he plays is baritone uke and djembe.

It's so cute! And the battery is awesome, too cute to use! EDIT: I think my son is going to take it away from me. He's in love with it.
