I am going to find out more about those things. They were made on the west coast of England near Liverpool I think. We are going to spend some time over there this summer and I was wanting to see if the old factory is still there or a museum perhaps. I was wanting to check out the "Vintage Caravan" groups over there as well..

My parents own a 1969 Bailey Caravan that my dad is restoring. The skin is metal, so I'm not sure when they switched to using different materials for the outside. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

My parents are not tech savvy and don't even have Internet if you can believe that.

I spent last summer in Europe and camped in many countries. I enjoyed photoing the unusual idiocincracies of each countries camping approach. Look at the size of add-a-room they put on a small trailer in England.

As my Dad got older he used larger and larger add a rooms. I think it was because he didn't like bug bites and rain anymore.

Go to Costco buy a Tent. (the tents they sell are about the size of a small condominium) Cut into one wall. Scoot it up next to your camper… Voila'! An added Room!
Just a little bit Red Neck…
but hey… it might work!

It would probably work better than the ones they sell.. and cheaper. All you would need to add is a piece of thick vinyl cord to fit into an awning channel..
