So excited to find so many people interested in restoring these little beauties. My husband and I just acquired a Loflyte with Vin # P11410. We are not sure what the year is but would love to know if anyone has the answer. We are in the middle of restoring. Inside looks pretty good and the outside not bad but the wood in between is pretty rough in spots. This is our first attempt. So nice to find a spot with some good advice. Leola PA 1968 plant #3

I just acquired a 1959 Shasta 16 foot trailer. VIN V2734. I know it was built in Indiana, but I don't know when. I also don't know for sure what model it is. Perhaps an Airflight? I have a picture to post, but not sure how to do that. Thank you for any help you can provide. OK, figured it out with help from you all. Thanks so much. Here is the photo. They also had models designated by the lengths, i.e. a 16-foot model "1600", but I have never found enough conclusive information to tell them apart in any significant way. If the 16-footer had the bathroom in the rear streetside corner, it would be a 16SC...but I am not sure they were building those before 1960. That is about the total of my limited knowledge...

I'm new to this form and just picked up a Shasta with no info or paperwork from an Estate sale. The VIN on the frame is V3630. Any help with year and model would be great. From what I've read I believe it late 50's early 60's Airflyte.

I know I've gotten pretty proficient of the changes they made on the compacts from year to year in the 60's, so a picture would really help.

Hi- Looking for some help. We just purchased a 1971 Shasta 1400. Its been sitting for a number of years and the owner never titled it. It looks like the VIN is T11921, and it does show it was Manufactured in Texas. Just wanting to see if that VIN looked correct. Thanks www.flickr.com/gp/189558076@N05/G09Sp9
