Hey all, I am looking for some suggestions on cabinet latches for my '64 Airflyte. The old ones are no longer up to the task and so would like to replace. I would like to get the style that attach to the door frame (as opposed to the shelf) so that I can mount more than one on some of the bigger doors.
Thanks in advance!
Steven

You really want some kind of latch that keeps the doors closed when everything is bouncing around in there. You have no idea what the ride is like back there and it's actually kinda illegal to find out. But it's a ride I tell ya. Anything that depends on friction will fail and all your stuff will be on the floor when you get where you are going.

Any of us that have taken a ride in a horse trailer (or camper) gets a shaken' I'll tell ya.
If a person could feel that once, it's unforgettable. UNFORGETTABLE....

Yes or anyone who messed up and left a cupboard or a icebox/refrigerator unsecured then got to pick up everything all over their camper will most likely always have the doors secured and double check them before taking off.

Yeah, when I was in Basic Training they used to transport us in cattle trucks. Now that was a ride!

The Long Long Trailer comes to mind, with Lucy making lunch. That is one of the funniest scenes in the movie...

The Long Long Trailer comes to mind, with Lucy making lunch. That is one of the funniest scenes in the movie... It's something about Lucy and food. Even in her I Love Lucy series... I liked the scene where she tried to cook eggs and coffee while the trailer was leaning on it's side in the mud and rain. Very ingenious cooking methods she came up with.

I like drop in pins like ice boxes used to have. You just have to remember to put them in place before driving away.

I just found a drop pin on ebay .. Going to buy it for my vintage fridge. There is a hole.. Just the chain and pin was missing.
