OK, I'm not usually one to criticize. But I NEED to know the real story on this one.

Asking price is $11500. Apologies to Universalexports, I didn't look before I posted. (My comments were originally posted as a new separate thread...didn't need two for the same absurdness . )

It appears the antithesis to the "dome-cutters".... Sorta like enclosing your front porch...

Oh dear. It looks as though somebody put the front of a 1966 something onto the back of an SC. Weird, weird, weird. Can't wait to see those interior pics!

Just noticed, the ad is listed in the Corvallis craigslist... Corvallis is in Oregon. At least a four hour drive from Redding, CALIFORNIA. The plot thickens.

Well, OBVIOUSLY, they had two domes and one was cut: That part went under the dome on this one...
What a mess. To me, it's lost the charm. I love domes...

I don't know what it is or who built it but many things are possible it could be a factory prototype that was made when they were thinking about changing body styles from ham to toaster and if so it might be worth a fortune if it could be documented. It also could be a modified original. or it could be a total custom built to resemble a Shasta just to mess with peoples minds. As for tongue weight if the dinette is in front and the kitchen and a complete bathroom are in the rear it might be well balanced. Who ever built it and weither you like the style or not it looks like they did a good job on the out side at least.

I'm sure it will be to someone's taste and hopefully, for that price, it is built well. Reminds me of rat rods, you either like 'em or you don't! And it's definitely an attention getter. Bill, you've got a point. I could be worth a fortune and we just can't see it

It looks like 3 campers rolled into one. It looks like three campers that were rolled down a steep embankment into one. What you can see is the seam that runs vertically, just about down from the middle of the side windows. This started out as an Astrodome and someone closed it in under the dome ....er...bunk. I'm just betting is was someone that aspired to be a "cutter", but didn't have the heart, and to make up for it added an apartment to the front end.
