Interesting idea. Although the heat portion wouldn't work for me as for most of the year evening temps are well below the 50* F they set as a limit. I would think the biggest problem would be the size/storage.

Cost is not much more than a portable air conditioner. I think this may be a nice solution.

I think it is a little larger than just a portable a/c. Nice idea if there is space and a vent. As July approaches it will go from a nice idea to a great idea.

We tried to use a portable air conditioner in our 21 ft trailer a few years back. It didn't work properly, too much humidity stayed inside and not enough air moved, not to mention the darn thing sitting in the middle of the isle.. We will be installing a window unit on a slide under our kitchen booth, that pulls out a bit to drain once you pull into your site. We will install a vent under the kitchen counter.

Did you have it vented out the side, roof or floor? I wonder if vented out the floor would have problems because of the hot air moving down.

We used the window.. but the humidity was just too high..
