It is a bit of a challenge restoring a vintage camper that was totally stripped before I got it. On the one hand, the price was right (ultra cheap, not to mention that there never seems to be any canned hams in my neck of the woods), but on the other hand, I have had to search high and low for the missing vintage parts that make it look.... Well....Vintage So in the last month or so I have been busy searching and have been able to buy a red vintage stove, sink and stove hood from a 1967 cardinal, and as well a couple of people from the forum have helped me out by selling me some missing window parts, the elusive vintage water intake for the side of the trailer, and I have a guy waiting to help me with my lock once I figure out the exact model.. thanks trailer talkers.. you are all great. The one item I have had the most trouble sourcing has been some vintage lights. Lots of reproductions out there, but none that look like the originals. Plus I want 6 lights for my trailer. Two Cone/bullet lights for reading on each side of the gaucho sofa, one 12 volt dome and three lights for up front. Well anyway, someone on here has offered me a couple of brass bullet lights and I am just waiting to see what they look like, and then today I snagged these ones in the picture. When I had first started researching I had seen some similar ones in a really old Shasta and christened them my dream lights... then today I found these and bought them on Etsy. I am officially doing the happy dance! Have I mentioned yet that my husband thinks that I have officially lost my mind... but its fine with him as long as I still cook him supper ...lol
