Hi everyone. I'm starting to get ready for camping this summer and I was wondering is there a standard size sheet that fits the couch/bed in the back of a 1960 Shasta, as well as, the dinette? I was thinking the bed in the back is a double? No idea for the dinette. Or I'm I crazy and people throw some blankets on it and call in a night.

I use queen size on my rear bed and twin on the front. But I actually put a airbed on top of the dinette seats so that is why the twin fits perfectly.

We thought that the rear bed in the Airflyte was a 3/4 size rather than a Queen. Queen (and King) mattresses were first introduced in the 1950s and didn't make it into trailers until later. The later model Compacts have a rear bench system that can be pulled out into something close to a King size. That being said, Queen sheets can certainly be used for anything smaller than that. If the Airflyte is wider than the Compact, then Queen sheets would work better due to their extra 5" of length over a full (double),

Hi I just have a 48" space from back to front (in the rear bed area) if a board is pulled all the way forward over the wheel wells. Then since the original pre built box front with an original fold down door sits back a ways I was trying to get a foam or futon type matress that would fold to go up the back like a rear cushion. Just yesterday I scored a used VERY NEW CONDITION futon matress but it's width is only 52" and it says DOUBLE on the tag. I guess I will build some removable pillows for the back and have to put a few supports under the boards. That being said now the outside luggage doors on left and right that go to that bed area would be smaller storage spaces. Any ideas here for a hidged back and sliding board seat? ? And where does that cute plastic triangle type lamp with a plug mount in the bed area? Thanks you guys...61 Shasta newbie!!!!!!
