Hi All, We finally got the propane in Lula Belle hooked back up, lit the propane light and the cooktop. It was all very exciting! The cooktop sputtered and didn't burn well and in looking at other photos on the site I think we're missing some aluminum ring thingies. Photo of what I have is below. Any advice on what's missing, what it's called and where I could locate them would be much appreciated! paula

Holiday Stove www.flickr.com/photos/susieqilvu/13182042534/Oh, you are missing something. But now I'm wondering, did they have the drip pan ring thingies that went around the burner? I've cooked on a glass top so long I've forgotten. Or do only electric ones have that?

Definitely missing the aluminum ring thingies. I found extras at a trailer junk yard. Just find a Holiday and they should fit. Hold off on lighting the burners until you find the rings...

Yes you are missing the gas distribution rings. They distribute the gas around the burner to give you a nice even flame that warms the entire bottom of a pan with out these you could wind up with a very long extended flame that could reach out to a near by item and start a fire. I am not certain that is the proper name but that is what I have always heard them called.

Thanks all. So now I'm hunting gas distribution rings AND a trailer junk yard! I've never even heard of such a place but I bet I could find all sorts of fun things there!

Hi all, I am working on my stove. I just finished spray painting the range hood. I will send pictures when I get it all done. I wonder if anyone knows where I can find those metal "clips" that hold down the burners? Thanks,

Some older RV stores might have NOS clips. You have to look for them.

Newmexicogal, they are the clips that hold the burners in place. In the photo you can see the horizontal clips about 1/2" wide that hold the burners in place. They are rusted as you can see, so I thought it might be easy just to buy new ones; maybe not. BTW I just sprayed the stove top and took off the oven front which I will prep and spray hopefully in the next day or so. If not it will have to wait until I get back from a trip which will be early April. Haven't taken a photo of the stove top but here is the range hood.

NOS => New Old Stock. Unused original parts, often still in the original box.
