Above the bed, we recently put in new cabinet doors with picture frames set in. They are currently featuring WPA National Park postcards.
I mentioned it at VSTF and want to reiterate here; I really like those picture frame doors.
Nice job Maj.

I love the tray mosaic and would never have thought of picture frame doors! I will be holding off on any decorating until I take care of a few upkeep issues but am planning on decoupaging the ceiling of our '67 Shasta with old maps and maybe a penny back splash in the kitchen. I will definitely be swiping the picture frame door idea!

I have FINALLY finished turning my Holiday brown stove into a bright red and chrome piece of fun! It was so fun doing this, and will be a primary color in my Shasta....and the oven/stove/thermostat and propane actually work too! (bonus!)

I really like the picture frame doors too. I wonder... how 'bout making doors out of paintings?

Yeah, those doors are awesome. A painting would be cool too, or a photograph. If I had a black and white theme...some Ansel Adams photos would look awesome.

If you could get a bunch of paintings of the same, right size, the paintings themselves could be the doors.
One great thing about taking forever to finish is being able to incorporate all these good ideas that I might have missed, had I been efficient and had more disposable income, hehe.

Check my blog for my latest glamping acquisitions - Davy Crockett pillows and a quilt made from the scraps of my curtains and pillows. I'm so excited! Maybe someday I'll actually get to use them on a real camping trip. sparkythesiesta.blogspot.com/

I am doing a vintage cowgirl theme also because the original owner, now deceased, at age of like 92, was a Rodeo cowboy in the 60s.....it's a fun theme to decorate right?
