Hi all! I'm Alyson, my husband and I live in Austin with our baby girl. Live is great and we bought our very first little camper...TODAY! It's a 1956 Riviera, compact and needs a makeover. I'm so in love with it, my mind is racing with ideas. I am having a hard time finding info on the Riviera brand, they made campers for VW and that is all I get. Any info is appreciated!

Here is some info from the TCT site. Riviera Trailers were a small one at a time company built in Oakville Ontario. There were no “model names” given to the units. The owner of the pictured unit,
History
Manufacturer Information Canadian, Oakville, Ontario possibly. Likely a home based business
Interiors The trailer had a simple panelled plywood interior with a front dinette and a rear pull out bed couch. It has a bunk bed above the rear bed and the table drops down for a double bed. In complete caos you could sleep 6. Ther is an ice box and a sink with a freshwater tank and a hand pump. No 12volt system. A/C system for shore power. and a 4 purner LP range. The Kamp King featured here has been re-uphostered in Bermuda Blue and White to match the Lambert's tow vehicle and the floor re-tiled in black and white checkers. The panelling is bright white with aluminum accents giving the interior a “diner” feel. The retro fabrics used for the curtains complete the look. The new look is retro, moderne and opens up the space

Welcome to the VTT. Pics are required. Cats are mandatory. (Well not really but it's a good idea!)

I like it! Small canned hams are my favorites. Are you going to pull it with that Chevy Bel Air?
