As part of my job I do a lot of research online. I was shocked to see how much vintage hardware tends to be priced at especially hinges and latches. So I took my research skills and put them to the test yesterday, attempting to find the lowest available price on these items. I have shared my results below in case anyone else is in the market for the same items and wants to save some money.
The first two items come from Van Dykes restorers. They are:
Chrome Cabinet Latch regular $25.00, on sale for $6.79,They are offset 3/8 which is perfect for most trailers.
and a vintage reproduction ice box logo for $5.99

The second link is to some art deco hinges $5.00 at the Charleston Harware Company. I found these same hinges were priced at up to $20.00 a lot of places.

The Third link is to Historic house parts which has the rest of the ice box hardware for $6.00 (Hinges), and $9.00 (Latch) I found an online site that showed how to create a fake vintage icebox door to attach to your refrigerator, so I am going to do that.
