Hey M-tec, looks great! Did you do a video of the before and after on the stripping? Also about how long did it take. cheers! I have photos of it before it was stripped. I had my painter do it so it took forever... He sanded the top which kinda bummed me out. I'm going to go over the entire thing again myself with scotch brite and see if I can spiff it up a little more. The front aluminum will be replaced as will the gravel guard below.
Unfortunately I lost the photos I had of the Kenny when my last HD crashed. Here is the only one I have before stripping but you can kinda see the scheme... I may have video that shows it better somewhere. If I can find it I will post it here.

Mobil, stick all your photos online. They may not be top quality, but you'll at least have a copy...

I do regular back ups Vikx but this time I just sort of got behind and the crash happened right after I got back from CO. Just really bad timing as it always is when something like this happens. What I really need to do is to use something like Carbonite or something.

Back in the days of dos, before windows I had a program that backed up everything even if you were typing a letter and the power went off when it came back up you could go back and start right where it stopped. Bur to my knowledge nothing like that exists in todays world. I guess we have made progress.

Funny world we live in now. Everything seems to be disposable. Including information. I have solid photographs in boxes that were taken by my grand parents and I'm 62 years old in April. But photos I took of a trailer a year ago now are gone. Do you really think computers enhance our lives in a good way? Most of the time my answer is no. I would just as soon go back to the old ways. We were all much happier then.
For anyone who is into the 60s/70s I highly recommend this movie. I keep it with my camping gear because it's such a great night under the stars movie....

Larry, Here's one I think you will love too. www.youtube.com/watch?v=xLfB-ROWa-4, it's called "That Thing You Do". Set in 1964 with lots of great music and things from the past.

It's a great movie with lots of music. We are friends with the guy who wrote and played the music and acted in it, Scott Rogness. Let me know what you think.

I lost a hard drive a few years back. It had several years of pictures of my son that I had no other copies of. Fortunately I have a nephew who is a computer geek/programmer. He took it to the place he works and they dismantled it and got the info off of the drive. My point, if you fry your hard drive and it has important stuff on it, don't automatically throw it away. You might be able to find someone who can get it off for you. Now, based on his suggestion, I have a external hard drive I back everything up on. But you're right, you have to be diligent about the back ups, which I am not.
