According to my lumber man, domestic is a lot better. He quoted 40% more on it. This is related to my earlier thread on finding decent plywood. I've had terrible luck lately, even at $40 a sheet, there's serious flaws. Luckily, our little trailers have lots of built ins to hide them...

The lumber guy looked at me funny when i asked to see if 1/8" was available and even funnier when he was on the phone and told the guy he was talking to, "i don't think he cares if it's domestic or imported", when i chimed in real quick DOMESTIC!. I'm able to get 1/8" no problem, but it's imported from China and has flaws. I had to sort through a bunch of it before I found good pieces. The 1/4" was available in domestic and foreign and the guy at the hardwood store told me that domestic was far better quality so I went with that. Even still, I had to sift through the pile to find the best pieces.
