Well since its too cold to go work on it tonight, i'm sittin around "plannin" . I was readin in the brochure section that brake flanges were standard on the second gen compacts. does this mean they all should have the backing plate? I would just go look but ive got it all leveled up and cant get under it for a week or two. thanks guys and gals

The flange is the part of the axle that the backing plate bolts to. If yours doesn't have brakes then the complete brake package should just bolt on if you you have flanges. When you look if you see backing plates you have brakes, they may or may not work but they are there if you see backing plates.
