Just moved here from that other forum. I'd like to start over with my story of two Shasta Compact trailers. The first was a 1970 that my family purchased in 1970. I'll try to post a pic of us camping in it. In 1971 my family was in a magazine ad for spark plugs but the ad featured our Shasta. I'll try to post the ad too. Shasta actually saw the ad and sent us a letter, I'll try to post that. In May of this year I purchased what I thought was a 1967 Compact, turns out it is a 1971! I'm one month into rebuilding it to use and try to relive some childhood memories.
Peace, Tom

Tvernon, the ads and letter sound great! If you have any trouble, please contact NomadicMe or Vikx for help. We would love to put them in the brochures section...

I remember that ad photo from over on the other board, and still just love that piece of family history! What a great memory to have and a great tribute back to it as you get into your own project now!

Thanks hotrod, #10 & bigbill. I'm glad someone knew how to post that old ad. I'll start posting more on my rebuild, restore, rewhatever it is. :-) I will not be working on it this weekend, PHX forecast is 118 both sat & sun and that's too hot to work outside on this thing.
Peace
Tom
