Our situation is that we have to keep our camper in the garage - we're in a really strict HOA community, so there is no other option other than storage, which makes working on it a challenge. We've got 7' tall garage doors, once we get through there, clearance isn't a problem.
So, my question is - if our primary requirements are that it sleeps 6, has a bathroom, and fits through my garage doors, do you have any insight as to what I should be looking for? I know that the Shasta Lowflyte seems to be lower than most, but not all of them seem to have bathrooms - is there a certain year that I'd have better luck with, or is it just hit or miss? Anything else that we should be looking for?
Thanks!
Mike

LoFlytes are low if they do not have a refrigerator. The Refer vent adds 6 inches to the height. Most had a porta potti closet rather than a bathroom.
Others: Aristocrat Loliner. This trailer can actually fit in almost any garage with special Aristo lowering wheels. (eBay) Again, I don't think any came with a bathroom. At least not 69 and older.
Northwest Coach made the Little Dipper, which is very low, no roof vents. It will not sleep 6 though. You might get along with an awning room or tent?
To be honest, I'm not sure you will find a vintage trailer that sleeps 6 with a bathroom that will fit in your garage. Most with a bathroom are longer (17 or 18 feet) Consider a HI LOW trailer; they collapse down to allow garaging. Another thought is a Scamp, Burro, U haul or Casita fiberglass egg. Whatever you do, MEASURE carefully. Good luck! VK

Thanks so much for your help, VK. That's exactly what we needed to know. We decided to give up on the garage idea and go with the '67 Globestar that we well in love with and just use a local RV storage place temporarily until we figure out something else. We're picking it up next week, can't wait!
