Well I’m in the middle of all the windows. I have 5 jalousie windows on my 58 Jewel. 2 4-louver, 2 5-louver, 1 6-louver. I have drilled out all the old rusty rivets and taken the frames apart. I’ll be getting the pitting out of the frames and polishing the parts that show. Should I polish the internal glass holders and aluminum bars? That’s a lot of little holders (48 in all). thanks, 99E8F98E-E79A-4371-8569-672456940253 by asmay22, on Flickr -Scott

I wouldn't do it if I was hand polishing. With the aide of a buffer, yes. Too te consuming by hand.
If you want top dollar if you were to sell, maybe, but for your own use, I would just do the frames.
Just my opinion. Others may have a different point of view.
The frames make the windows pop especially on jalousies.
Cheers,
Rod

I'm always for nice cleaning and a mill finish. Polishing takes so long and still needs upkeep in a few years
