To polish or not to polish what say you?

Well I’m in the middle of all the windows.  I have 5 jalousie windows on my 58 Jewel.  2 4-louver, 2 5-louver, 1 6-louver.  I have drilled out all the old rusty rivets and taken the frames apart. I’ll be getting the pitting out of the frames and polishing the parts that show.   Should I polish the internal glass holders and aluminum bars?  That’s a lot of little holders (48 in all).
