I remove my rotted bumper from my Trotwood Lark and notice a curious insert. I had wondered why there would be a hinged cap on one end. Looks like they used this to store a septic hose? Very clever! Yup, that's exactly what it was used for... I believe you can still order these bumpers new.

It was a perfect storage for the hose. You wouldn't want it in your interior storage area stinking it up.
