So my wife and I are spending a night in Pinedale WY on our way back from Yellowstone. We're walking to diner and come across an old trailer with a for sale sign. My wife says, "that looks like a fun project" and I agreed. A couple of days later is in our yard. So I have no idea what I'm doing. I'm capable having done many house and vehicle projects, so I'm thinking, how hard could this be. The folks I bought if from appeared to be doing a lipstick on a pig restore. They had removed the furnace and fridge. They said they were dangerous. And they had started putting newer paneling over the old paneling. I think they found the rot (it was apparent in the front corners) and decided to bail. I jump in and just start ripping paneling off, just like I would in a house. It wasn't until I came upon the cabinet above the kitchen that I ran into a head scratcher. Now how in the heck is the cabinet attached. I couldn't find any fasteners to remove to get it down. So off to google I went. That's when I discovered Larry at canned ham trailers. And how I discovered VK (Vikx) and her book. I joined mobiletec and bought Vk's book. Now I'm restoring the trailer the right way. Skins off, rebuilding rotted framing and flooring. This picture is the only one I took before it took it apart. I have lots of pictures of the restoration process and I'll post those soon.

Hello and welcome!
Thank you for seeing the light and not getting pulled to "the dark side" on your restoration.
You have come to the right place. We look forward to joining you on this journey.👊
Cheers,
Rod
