I've been using an older trickle charger for about 5 years, but before our last trip I couldn't get one of the 100AH batteries to fully charge. No matter what I tried it wouldn't go beyond 70%. I was about to go buy a new battery but then read reviews about new 7 stage chargers that claimed to resuscitate old discharged batteries. I figured for $35 I'd give it a try. In about 48 hours the battery had a full charge. (Amazon)
