Does anyone know what the little plastic ( possibly nylon ) spring clips on the top of trailer sliding windows are called or where to find them. They are the clips that keep spring tension down on the windows. They also compress when the window is lifted to remove or install the window. These are on a 71 holidare trailer. I can't seem to find them and I am not sure what they are called. Frank

I had the bow shaped plastic/nylon spring clips on the sliding windows on my 1966 Buco. I took a sample to a local residential glass shop and they were able to find some that were almost identical. Many older homes had sliding aluminium frame windows that used a similar spring clip. I had to modify them slightly with some heat and file them slightly thinner due to the window channels being a bit narrower and shallower in my trailer than in a residential window, but I was able to make them work and they keep the windows firmly in the slide channel.
