Hi Friends, Yesterday, we had a trunk or treat at my school and I decided to participate with my Rod and Reel. The final presentation is below. It was a hit among the families – lots of enthusiastic comments! A constant trail of families in front of the trailer grabbing candy and stopping for a picture. The skeletons are holding skewers with marshmallows on the ends and I back lit the skeleton inside the trailer as it sat at the table. I had haunted house noises on a large speaker blue toothed to my laptop in the trailer just to heighten the experience. The marker lights were also lit up with an old RV battery I had left over from my pop up trailer. Street lights lightened up the trailer more than I would have liked, but it still was a hit. Cheers, Rod
Can you find the two skeletons? Weeeee! My skeletons had more fun riding in the back of my truck bed and standing up through the sun roof!

I wish I thought of that! Perfect. Well, actually, teachers often get their ideas from other sources and then we copy them. The concept of the skeletons roasting marshmallows over a fire pit with lights as the fire wasn't my idea. I did a quick search for ideas and searched under "Vintage Trailer Halloween" and a bunch of pix showed up with this concept. I would have added a string of battery operated orange lights in the fire pit that could flicker, but I was short on time and could only find the simpler on/off variety. It still worked out very well. Thanks guys. Rod
