Hey everyone, I’m running some new water lines and a new pump in my camping trailer. The pump I bought is a self priming, auto start/stop and 3.5GPM.
My main question is: Is the pump strong enough to maintain pressure for the kitchen sink, toilet, and shower?
This is how I plan to run the water lines. Does it look good?
The pump inlet would be attached to the water tank. The outlet line goes to a T fitting. The 1st T fitting continues forward while the water hook up line with a shut off valve is in the same T. From there, another T fitting, running forward and to the kitchen. A third T follows that goes to the toilet and the shower.
Thanks.

Sounds like it will work. Hard to tell without photos.

Here is a quick digram I drew up. I added a T and a second line from the shore water to the water tank with a shut off valve. This would be used to fill the water tank without having to disconnect shore water and walk to hose to the tank fill hole. I also added a shut off valve between the pump and the rest of the system. This would be used/closed when I am hooked onto shore water and would prevent water pressure pushing against the pump outlet.

Here is the final diagram and the one I will be using. I’ve ran most of the plumbing, I just need to run a water line to the bathroom for the toilet and shower. I designed the system to be able to do everything I need, without unhooking from the city water hook up and dry camping is just as easy. flic.kr/p/2nQXmd8I’ve also included and info sheet to show how the system works, in case anyone wants to use it. flic.kr/p/2nQSaP6You can add shut off valves before each fixture if you want. The kitchen faucet has 2 shut off valves that came with the PEX to faucet line fitting. I may add a shut off valve between the bathroom and the main system. Thanks.
