I am new to trailer repair and I wanted to ask you folks for a little advice. My trailer came with the front inside mostly gutted, The front window is still in but needs to be removed and the framing redone. The trailer was originally built with 3/4 plywood on its side for framing. Is it OK to replace that with boards or should I use plywood again? I'm working on pictures and I will send some as soon as I get a little deeper into it. ( unfortunately weather here permitting) Thanks Frank

I think framing with studs would be better than plywood. Also, be sure to loosen the roof and inspect the integrity of the top edge wood. Plywood walls are harder to work with in my opinion. The thickness makes adding wall thru items a lot more difficult.

Thanks Vikx I think the boards will work better too. I'm going to inspect the whole thing but I kind of wanted to build a front wall so I can get the window and the table support in the right place. I'm hoping to use the same siding again to save a few bucks. I'm not putting the bunk bed back in I have no need for it. Probably make some small shelves there instead. That bunk is a lot of weight too. Frank
