Hi all,
I’m on the small island or Coron in the Philippines. I’ve heard there are campgrounds in the county but I’ve yet to find one or even see a camper. Great diving and hiking but not a single camper. Ill be wandering from island to island for a month or two so forgive me if I’m AWOL. I’ll keep you posted.

Some two months later, I discover this thread, LOL. I missed it initially. So, did you ever find any camping or even a camper(trailer, not a person)? I would imagine that the South Pacific gets a lot of rain - the arch enemy of camper trailers and therefore cancels out any chance of finding a survivor.

I didn't see this either... sorry, no info here. I would guess there aren't campgrounds for "campers"; maybe tents? When we lived on an island, we always left our cars behind; too much salt air ate them up...

Im back from round one of 7 weeks there. I loved the country but I didn’t see a single camper or campground. My second trip is next month. I’m considering relocating there at least for six months to a year.
