This is my first post here. I've been a member for a while but after Larry (mobiltec) told me to invest my time here b/c this community does things right I thought I would reach out. I have a 1964 Shasta Astroflyte that after a year I finally was able to get the exterior screws out. I've read Vixk book and have spent hours on Mobiltec's site watching videos and have finally removed my windows and skins and the front wall for floor repair access. I always try to plan for the next phase of my repair and am planning on replacing the interior plywood. In studying the dome in this trailer it looks like I need to remove the plywood base for the bed in order to fully access the plywood on the walls in the dome. If anyone has any pictures or advice on how to remove the bed base to access the plywood in a 1964 Shasta Astroflyte. My apologies in advance if this post is in the wrong place. Please let me know if there is a better place to post this but interior talk seemed like the most appropriate spot. I've included a few pictures here to show the area (I'm sure you can already picture it) that I'm talking about. I'm looking forward to getting to know some of you and your expertise as I move through this build. Best, Mark Photos photos.app.goo.gl/nBtsXVReTaBdnUPe9

I think you may have to cut the plywood to remove it and replace with new. It's hard to tell what's there from the pictures. It appears that the dome was framed and then the ply was attached from below. Not the sturdiest build method.
New wood for the entire front would be good and add strength. The domes tend to bounce so the wood not only gets water damaged from metal gaps but weakens from vibration as well. Study what's there and make it stronger.
