Does anyone have a suggestion for putting a refer light inside my 3 way? Maybe battery power? Any way to switch it when the door opens? I also need one in the cabinet under the sink, though wiring this would be much easier. Thanks

I would contact your brand (Dometic or Norcold) for advice and information. If it's a 3 way, the 12 volts are at the back of the fridge. I'm not sure you could operate it with a door switch but a simple on/off switch on the light would work.

Just put a rechargeable LED motion light in there with a piece of double sided sticky tape. They have them as night lights and such on Amazon.

Buy LED only they generate less heat and batteries last much longer. You most likely know this but I thought it was worth mentioning.

All good suggestions, folks.
Would the cold in the fridge effect the batteries?
Cheers,

I think the batteries would be OK in an RV fridge. The temperature is usually about 40*. If the refer was on too cold, then it's possible the batteries might be sluggish. Today's lithium batteries are said to work in cooler temps.
