Wow!
Weighs a ton for the first trip after which you need a broom and dustpan to fill the trash can with the crack proof walls.

Wow! That must weigh a ton even with 1/4 inch drywall. I don't think I have even seen 1/4 inch drywall here in Canada. You get cracks and nail pops on your house walls and it isn't been towed down the road!

Wow. The guy I got to weld my trailer frame was planning similar. I tried to explain all the ways this was a bad idea but folks just think a camper is a house.

Hi Friends,
Reminds me of the guys in the 70's who said they could get 50 mpg out of a Ford Crown Vic...
"1000's of miles and not one crack!!"🤔
...yah, I don't think so.

Hi Friends, Reminds me of the guys in the 70's who said they could get 50 mpg out of a Ford Crown Vic... "1000's of miles and not one crack!!"🤔 ...yah, I don't think so. Rod But let's not forget about structural integrity. In houses, the drywall is part of the structural integrity but houses are not being towed over bumpy roads at 60mph for hours on end. Before they began covering entire houses in chipboard, they used to have us shear nail the fire wall which was the separating wall between the house and the garage. This was part of structural integrity. Shear Walling is just doubling up on the nails basically. It was to add shear strength to the house. I have to admit. He did a great job with the rock and the taping. That part looks very professional. Just not right for a trailer is all. Drywalling a trailer is about as smart as drywalling a pool and then filling it with water.
