I am redoing a 1950's Holiday trailer and am ready to re do the floor. The old trailer had an aluminum base with studs and plywood floor. I am curious if I should replace the floor with the aluminum as the base or can I get away with just putting PT plywood and PT studs down. I hope that makes sense? Let me know your thoughts.

I would keep it original but that is what I always try to do.
PT wood is not recommended because it corrodes normal fasteners and can off-gas into the camper.

I'm not sure if using aluminum as a lowest layer under a wood floor is a good idea. The few times I've seen that (a vintage Airstream was one), I noticed the wood floor rotted out. I suspect it was water making it under the floor and getting trapped by the aluminum. I also noticed the worst wood rot on basically a destroyed trailer was where a wide aluminum sheet was used as an underside repair. Again, I suspect water trapping. Rot doesn't take long.
I'm a fan of using good plywood, even marine grade, and treating the bottom with some kind of black water proofing to fend off the splashing from a wet road. Water is going to drip and dry off.
