Hello, I am new here but have read quite a bit on this forum. I just bought a 1964 little champ trailer that is in poor shape but has a registration. I have not been able to find much of anything on this brand and hope to get some info and pointers for my rebuild. Thanks

This is the little champ as I found it. It had sunken into the ground but the tires were not flat, made it home on a flat bed with no incidents and I have removed the windows, doors and a lot of mousey camping equipment. Looks like very simple construction.

I haven’t finished dis assembling the little champ and I found two Shasta’s I could not pass up. One is a ‘64 according to the reg and I think it is a 1500, interior is gutted. The other is a compact, maybe ‘72 according to the PO, both need total rebuilds and we’re free. flic.kr/p/2mA75Np

Hello Friends,
The Little Champ looks really unusual. Are you near the Canadian border? I am thinking if you are, this may be Canadian built.

I believe the little champ was made by champion home builders in Dryden Michigan, that company now makes champion mobile homes. Not much info out there on these.

The Champ is an interesting little trailer. How big is the box? Is it laid out with dinette in the front and gaucho in the back?

The champ is 10’3’” long and 6’6” wide. Yes, dinette in front, gaucho in rear, sink and three burner cook top on the street wall. There are two other Little Champs within 15 miles of my house but not much info available on line.

The lil champ looks like a cross between an Aristocrat Loliner, a Serro Scotty and a Shasta Compact. LOL... Neat looking trailer!
