Hello y’all . I was wondering how likely it would be to rip all the skins off and the fiber glass corner and get it all back fitting together properly afterwards. I have a lot of rotted wood on my frame that I have to replace . A fair bit. I am also concerned about all the trim whether I can purchase new stuff or at least the past part that slides in the trim to cover the screws. Thanks I have a 1971 golden falcon . I’m trying to add pics but I can’t figure that part out

Hello and Welcome, Pix would really help us. Here is a tutorial on how to post pix. vintagetrailertalk.freeforums.net/thread/7276/add-photos-hosted-flickr-tutoria You can use Shutterfly also. I am having a hard time envisioning the fiberglass corner. From what you describe for the part that slides in the trim, if it's vinyl and if it's what I think you are describing, it would be called insert molding screw cover for RV. You can find it online in different colors or even at some RV stores. It stretches just from being in the sun over time and then falls out. Cheers, Rod

sorry everybody . i tried to upload a few photos so you can see what im dealing with . so most of the wood is descent but i got alot of rot at the back that has to be fixed . i gutted everything on the inside if the trailerr except for the bathroom and sink and stove area. so im at the point were i need to ripm the skins off . i am assuming its the best way to go about this but am worried everything just wont merry up the way its suppost to . But after 50 years i also assume its best to rip the skins of anyways to replace wwood and sure everything could use new seals and screws etc, etc . im doing a complete redo but just dont reslly know where to start at this point . i am worried about ripping skins off but i believe its the only way lol.

Skins off, exactly. Here are two good info sources: Canned Ham Trailers by Mobiltec on Youtube. Hundreds of vintage trailer repair videos. vintagetrailerrepairmanual.weebly.com/ Manual on the order of things and rebuilding a vintage trailer.

Remove the skins gently. Keep track of them as you remove them. Put them back together and use them as a template for framing the sides. Check some of the build threads, there's examples of the process. Do this for both sides, it's not uncommon for there to be minor differences between them.
Considering the extent of the rot, you're probably going to replace most if not all the wood
This is also a great time to integrate some changes, like raising the ceiling a couple inches or enlarging the bathroom, adding extra electrical outlets etc.
