I think we need to plan a “rally” this fall here on the east coast. Find somewhere in the middle and do a few days. If anyone is interested just let me know and we can start looking for a spot I want to do that here in the western half of the country as well. I'm thinking Airzona due to the good weather in late fall. it would take us 2 days to get there but it sounds like fun.

after selling the house, we had to do emergency evacuation. Jerked the 60 deluxe out of the garage and put the axle back on. Took about 30 minutes. IMG_E3260 by will andrews, on Flickr IMG_E3261 by will andrews, on Flickr I'll have to pull the windows back ou to paint. I guess my plan is to finish the interior and paint it when I get my new shop built. Just have to fight the weather until then.

If you zoom in on the second pic, you can see that I had to cut the bottom plate to get it out. It grew an inch or so with the new walls. The new skin on front came from atomic camper parts in Chattanooga/ mentone area. Him and his wife are great people. If anyone needs any skin I recommend them. It’s a lot thicker than the original so be mindful of that.

Being in a rent house, I'm not getting as much done as I should be. I have the 60 deluxe under cover and been concentrating on inside projects like cabinet doors, drawers, lights and chrome pieces. Under the cover Ive been working at night being its 2000 degrees here during the day. IMG_3382 by will andrews, on Flickr I ordered some chrome paint for my airbrush so im going to try spraying chrome. Ive been prepping the pieces with bondo and 10 layers of filler primer. IMG_3383 by will andrews, on Flickr On a different note, the wife and I went and picked up a sweet 1960 airflyte. It has all the parts so it will make a great project for year 2025 It was not in shape to move 2 1/2 hours IMG_E3396 by will andrews, on Flickr IMG_E3399 by will andrews, on Flickr IMG_3392 by will andrews, on Flickr IMG_E3400 by will andrews, on Flickr Took about 2 hours to cut it up and load it IMG_3394 by will andrews, on Flickr Loaded it up and hit the road IMG_3395 by will andrews, on Flickr

I noticed on a previous pic your window frames are clean and shiny. What did you use to get them so clean? Thanks.
