Well, Moving right along with my door fix.. Jeepers it seems like a month of snow, cold weather and bad timing for everything that going on here. I have so much that I want to get done before before the May Rally. But what don't get done before then, will get done at a later time. I am determined not to take the fun out of it. Her are a few snap shots of my hinge fix.. I figured out a few things, made do with some others. The frame goes back in this weekend. The door will get it's third coat of paint and the Aluminum trim will be reassembled. I trust that everyone is getting to work on the trailers as well. This January and February has sucked weather wise. Come on spring time.. The hinge from the salvaged 1400 cleaned up pretty darn good. I took a wire brush to the whole lot and slap 3 coats of Rustoleum to it. It has harden up and cured out really sweet.

This what I started with. This is the salvaged hinge from the 1400. I piece cut and separated a usable length to fill the bottom trashed out hinge on the Loflyte. Then after trying match the bottom section, I cut a piece. It was better for me not replacing the entire hinge. The original rivet are "split" rivets. You need a backing bar, Anvil striker... yata, yata.. I was able to find some large pop rivets.. it worked out.. It worked out, but it is time consuming..
