Hi there! I'm new here and navigating the site, seems I can't reply in this thread: vintagetrailertalk.freeforums.net/thread/6162/holiday-stove-gas-flow-ovenbut having the same issue. I'm not sure what year my stove is (can provide pictures if it'll help) but it's nearly identical to the one in that forum post. The burners all work, but the pilot won't light and the oven burner won't turn on. We've disassembled, cleaned, reassembled, retested, done it again, nothing. Guessing it's the thermocouple? Thanks for any help!

I think it is a locked thread (see the closed padlock in the upper left hand corner?)

Hi,
I am sorry you are going through this very frustrating experience. I can't help you other than in the thread you referenced, there is a mention of trailertrasher. He's a vintage trailer parts guy. If you aren't able to figure whats' going on, his contact information is trailertrasher1@gmail.com.
Good luck,
Rod

Is the pilot/oven valve in the ON position? Many of these stoves have this valve under the stove top.
The pilot should light if you are holding the knob in pilot position. If it goes out when the pilot is released, the sensor isn't reporting heat to the oven valve.
It sometimes takes a lot of time for gas to reach the oven, so give it time; light all the burners before testing the oven. (burners off for testing oven)

Hi Friends,
Piggy backing on what Vikx said, I know with my backyard barbecue, I have learned to open up the propane tank valve slowly and then wait a minute or two to make sure the gas is fully in the system. Might be something you already have tried, but it's worth mentioning. Just from my experience, anyway.

Thanks so much, Teachndad! Just emailed trailertrasher for parts. This was super helpful. If I learn anything about my stove, I'll report back here for others to access!
