Hello, We bought a 76 Holiday Rambler in January. Haven't been able to do much with it yet except to put a tarp on it. We are hoping we can keep the inside original. The previous owner had a huge farm and the family auctioned off farm equipment, greenhouse equipment, furniture, household stuff and this Holiday Rambler. His grandson said he bought it and parked it. He didn't think he ever used it. He was the 2nd owner. The inspection sticker is 86-87 so we assume that is when it was parked. There is a lot of mouse evidence. Someone installed an extra outlet and also a light in the storage area. We plan to replace all wiring and insulation. The floor is soft between the beds but seems solid everywhere else - we'll see. We found carpet under the twin beds and there are 3 different linoleums. We assume none of the linoleum is original. Everything else appears to be original but not really sure. We are looking forward to spring so we can power wash and get this project started. hitch end 1 by Andea Garey, on Flickr outside2 by Andea Garey, on Flickr

“There is a lot of mouse evidence”
So tiny campers have been using it for years. Very common story here.
Welcome to you and your 47 mousy friends!

Had some nice weather this week so spent a little time on the Rambler. I knew there was a mess under the bathroom sink - mouse evidence. When I first looked at this I thought this was a gas line or something like that, one of the cloth(?) covered lines. Well, turns out it's a snake skin. I know I need new glasses but in this case I'm glad I didn't know what this was! Now I know what happened to the mice. under bathroom sink by Andea Garey, on Flickr
