Anyone else see the listing on e-bay for the '57 Yellowstone?

Beautiful trailer. I wonder what restoration work has been done. There inso mention of it. The only way there isn't rot is if it's unused (original stickers on toilet?) and was kept in a garage or barn for 54 years. even if it wa, it's certainly need to have the butyl tape replaced. It doesn't mention that either. $20K is a lot of money. anyone who wants to lay out that much had better do her/his due diligence.

Hi Friends,
I did see this a few days ago. I didn't really consider the rot question. It's got the same flooring in it as my 55 Rod and Reel and the interior looks really good, but we all know that appearances can be deceiving. Still, I love two door Yellowstones. I think they carry a lot of bang for the buck. Interesting, the 4 bids to this point are all from the same buyer. I guess, they really want it. Bidding started at $15K and has moved up to $20K which was the asking price. This day in age, the price seems fair for a trailer in this condition. I would think it's got a title, even though the add doesn't mention it. I would expect that from a trailer that was just pulled from a field. I messaged the seller and asked if it had a title. I will post back later after I receive a response.
Still, always ask for pix of any work completed.
IMHO, a cool trailer.

If the bids are all from the same bidder, eBay should shut it down. A bidder can up what s/he is willing to pay, but that shouldn’t change the current bid. If the original bid was $15k and there are no other bids, it should sell for that unless the reserve isn’t met. Hmm. It is a neat layout, I’m just a little suspicious of posts that leave out important information.

Hi Friends, The trailer is currently registered. I got an email response. I realized after looking at the picture of unique antitheft designed hitch, I have seen this trailer and I have been in it at a Southern California Rally a few years ago. It's really nice inside and it's the real deal. I don't have a picture from the front, but in this picture, you can just barely see the matching piick up truck that's the TV. It's a restomod truck with new tranny and engine. The trucks color matches to the striping on the side. Side view Rear Here is the mod on the mod. For the antitheft design of the hitch, the coupler is removed and attached with a safety pin. But, it can also be used as a mount for a small gas barbecue. Barbecue stand on Yellowstone Cheers, Rod

Clever bbq stand. If it’s the real deal, then I’d probably have an anti theft hitch, too. And although I said $20k is a lot of money, it just may be worth it in this case. But I don’t think I’d feel c9mfortable taking it over some of the roads we take Hamlet on!
