We have had a couple of unusual storms that have dumped about nine inches of snow. I have a coupled of tarped trailers so I thought I would check the roofs. About 8 inches on top so I got the ladder and brushed them off last night. The snow was fairly dense and heavy and I am glad I did because we are supposed to get another 2 inches.

Good move. That kind of weight can really buckle a roof. And once it’s sagging it’s hard to fix.

The storm must have been the great-great-granddaddy of the one that caved in Hamlet’s roof back before he was ours and served time as a hunter’s flop. The skin was so creased we couldn’t save it. Luckily the 9” we got, probably from the same storm as you had, didn’t cause any damage, but we brushed it off anyway.

Ah, sun! Here in Western WA we get about as much precipitation as New York, but a lot less sun. The sun come soon out somewhere around mid July and stays out until sometime in September. We do see the sun at intervals in between those times, we call them “sun breaks.” In fact we’re having one right now. Wait, now it’s gone.
Like vikx, we had snow for three days, about 9 inches. Still a fair amount in places, but it’s going to be 48 today and snow doesn’t hang around long with that much heat.
