I'm a newbie to the forum. My wife and I bought this camper from her friend. We are the third owners. I haven't found much on this camper. It's going to be a floor up restoration it looks like. I took the skins off and fond a lot of rot. In the inside there is a lot of panel damage. I'm a pretty good wood crafter, but this is a whole different ball game. I have a thousand questions. But I'll start with just a couple. I know, I have get reed of all the the rotten frame boards first and replace them. Then take the paneling out one piece at a time. I live in Sanford, Florida 30 miles north of Orlando. 1st. question - Where can I find Paneling? 2nd- where is a good supplier of vintage parts? I've tried looking on Vintage Trailer supply. They seem to be out of a lot. One last question - Is there any other place then California to get new skins? Sorry for the rambling. Thanks, Robert

Welcome Robert, You might be able to get skins in Tennessee. There was a CHCamper company there that sold them. Somebody please chime in as to the new name or contact info? Also check with large truck repair shops. Interstate Metals is in Milwaukee Oregon but shipping would be about the same as from Hemet. Trailertrasher1@gmail.com has vintage parts for sale. It takes a while for him to return your mail. Please watch some of Mobiltec's videos before dismantling your camper. A lot of good info there. cannedhamtrailers.com/Also an Ebook here: vintagetrailerrepairmanual.weebly.com/

The new name of the company is ATOMIC CAMPER PARTS in Chattanooga, TN I'll be considering them for the new roof skin. Just trying to be helpful. Whitney

I've ordered from Hemet several times but never from Atomic. With Hemet they arrange shipping which saved me once when the box was damaged in-route. Hemet filed a claim and sent new skin the next day. With Atomic I would imagine you're on your own once it's picked up by the shipping company you hire. With that said, if you can pick it up yourself it would save some serious money.
