flic.kr/p/2kyXS47 Greetings, friends! My daughter and I are fixing up this little camper. I want her to learn that we can do anything we set our minds to. It's a huge project, on hold for now until the weather warms up. We are watching Mobiltec videos and hoping we didn't wreck too much in our demo phase. Frankly, though, there wasn't much worth saving.

Welcome to you and your daughter! You have a big project ahead but when it’s done it’ll be fabulous. I’m glad you’re watching mobiltec’s videos, everyone has a different vision for their trailer, but the most important thing you can’t squige on is working from the outside in. It looks as though a lot of the paneling has delaminates. In a way, that’s good because now you can replace it with real birch, or whatever your heart desires.
I was wrong a minute ago about your big project. Think of it not as one big project, but as about 300 little tasks. After all, the only way to eat a hippopotamus is one bite at a time.
Best of luck, keep checking things out here and post pictures of your progress!

Thank you, Hamlet. We ended up taking it right down to the trailer, saving the kitchen and furnace, and the sides to use as templates. We had new frame pieces fabricated where they were rusted through, then we had it sandblasted and painted with a 2 part marine epoxy. We hope to restore the kitchen, doors and windows over the next couple of months until we can work outside again.
