Hi Friends,
Accidentily stumbled on this searching the orange big box store. Magic Chef Retro Fridge 3.2 cu. feet 2 door. Comes in Mint, black, red and white which is out of stock. Manufacturing of this fridge appears to have started a few years ago after other posts in VTT.
I usually, pass on these, but it caught my eye. The front of the fridge with seperate freezer door looks tastefully vintage, IMHO. The width is about an inch less than a vintage Marvel Fridge.
Consider how to mount in your cabinet, though. The one down side is that the door closes with the modern magnetic strip on the door edge. If anyting is in the door, the door may swing open during transit. A latch would be needed for travel as the door could swing open. However, my 85 pop up has a pin latch at the top right corner that keeps the door shut during travel. I guess, you could add one of these.
Cheers,
Rod

Use very short stainless #8 pan head sheet metal screws into the refrigerator side metal to mount the angle to the refrigerator body. The aluminum will then form a flange that can be secured to your wood cabinet frame. Sand and polish the aluminum to a chrome like finish before it's installed. During the mounting, you need to keep in mind that cool air needs a way to flow in the bottom, and the hot air escape out the top for the refrigerator to work. Yes, you will have to pick up, and adapt one of the chained safety pins to secure the magnet door at your local RV parts store. I have used the pin and the chain, but make my own plates from 1/8" aluminum. The store bought brackets never seem to work on my applications. John
