I intend to add a pull-out composting toilet and would really like to add a shower during my 58 Stanley (15 footer) resto-mod. I found this shower install a guy did on his van which seems like a great approach. I'm thinking a similar approach with a slatted floor area in the center aisle and curtain that can be pulled out and then tucked away. Any advice or thoughts on adding a shower to a canned ham?

Interesting design he has there. We can't really dedicate the space in our li'l Shasta Compact so we're thinking about a place to just "sponge off" not necessarily "hose off". Probably just use a large / deep tray, close the curtains of the camper and have at it. Mostly though, we can find shower facility to "rent" in the area we are traveling or campgrounds that have showers available. Just a thought, didn't say it was a good one... Whitney

I thought about the sponge option but have always showered right before bed, and don't think I can break the habit. What I like about his design is that it doesn't require a designated space. It does require some comfort with your travel partner(s) which for me are four legged and won't judge .

Whitney Didn’t you know that you can buy a shower pan/porta potty base that fits into that big closet next to the kitchen? We did for our Hamlet and we still love it after more than a decade.
