Now I know why you would have a drip rail above a window or hatch but what's this about ?

And why is there 2 drip rails over this hatch ?? Could they be table brackets ?

I just love this trailer's style! The one over the cargo door above the drip rail could be a table bracket. Some of the trailers have it where you can bring your table outside and use it. It's hard to tell from the photo. Again, I love this trailer.

That's what I thought but it should have a grooved-like rail if it's for a table or outdoor propane stove/sink.

Don't know but when I enlarge it I think it is a table bracket. The weird thing is they are at different heights. maybe they were put there to cover a defect, or to make people like us ask questions.

Table brackets X 2. I just don't see how you could get any cooler shaped trailer under 16 feet! It's awesome.

Im going with table brackets , but i dont see why you would have one on the left side of the trailer ? it's only 10 foot with a 2 foot hitch frame .... The previous owner said It's a 1953 clipper , but I've seen one other picture of the same trailer which was a 1961 , so I really don't know .... Perhaps they made the same shape for over a decade !!! Here is the original UK eBay listing

Sometimes trailers have tables on the left side because when you back into a site, the water hook up is there. Well, that's the reason I put my table/sink on that side of my teardrop, but then my galley is in the back. I don't know about the one over the baggage compartment, unless it's to put your luggage on? Too low for a stove.
You really have a treasure, especially if it is one of only two.

Or they might be so you can use the table on the shaded side of the trailer or incase you don't like the neighbors on the other side. Does the table have adjustable height legs because the brackets are at a different height.

This larger 63 clipper seems to have the same bracket over the luggage compartment ... This vintage add shows they were made in Texas ....
