Hi all! I stupidly purchased a cordset on Ebay without looking and triple-checking to be SURE it was what I needed. And the one I got from eBay was resealed, which made me think this happens a lot. And I think if I recall mobiltec said at one point that he'd purchased the wrong thing before as well. Anyways, this is what I bought: Link to Ebay ItemIt plugs in perfectly to the beautiful Stainless 30AMP inlet I bought... but clearly the other end isn't what's needed to plug in at a campground. Is there a reasonably priced adapter to make this work? Or am I out my money and now I need to spend another $70+ to get the correct cord?

That’s a new one to me. There must be some reason for that plug?

That looks like a problem, I don't know where you could use a Furrion to a Merinco chord? Sorry.
You want a 30A (male) shore power chord to a Furrion screw type end to connect to your Furrion stainless RV connection.
You also need a very small 15A, to a 30A adapter (about $7 at HD) so that you can use your heavy 30A chord while at home to keep your RV battery charged, and the refrigerator running. The small adapter, will operate your low amp draw accessories, but not your high amp draw air conditioning, etc.
I always buy the longer 30 foot chord. It's better to unwind the extra five foot, than to have to relocate the trailer because it's two feet further than the shore power post at your camp site. All the Furrion chords end up dirty black, so I would suggest a black chord, not their higher priced grey titanium, or yellow. They have a 90 degree end on the shore power end. They are in the $100 price range, new. It may seem expensive, but then "all copper wiring is now expensive".
Again sorry, it was a easy to make error.

Thanks for all the replies; I should have done better research, or at least noticed the wrong plug end in the photos.

If you can't return it, but want to be handy, you can buy a 30A plug end from a hardware store. Cut off the male end of the cord, splice on the 30A plug. A quick search shows they're around $16. I've done this before for a different project, but the same plug type. It requires something to cut wire, something to strip wire insulation, and a screwdriver. It's not difficult at all. If you don't have the proper tools, this can be done with pliers, or strong shears, and a utility blade or sharp knife (and a screwdriver). This guy shows exactly how to do it, he's replacing the other end but it's very similar: youtu.be/IE77WzsUHHM(ignore all the stuff about the black/corroded wire, your new cord won't need all that)

Don't worry. The same thing happened to me. But the shipping to return it was almost as much as the cost of the cord so I just replaced the end myself. Vintage Trailer Supply used to sell the right ones but stopped for some reason.
