So, I'm pretty new to vintage trailer ownership... and our first experience has left us with a lot of work. It's a 1968 Shasta Compact -- We paid way too much for it, it turns out, since the whole rear end under the windows needed to be refurbished. but I still love it. We've gutted the inside, removed the skin from below the curb side and the rear windows, and rebuilt the stud walls. Today we've just started to replace the skin... here is a link to a bunch of pictures.... We intend to paint the outside, too...

welcome to the forum, the forum is new but the members are not, we all recently had to transition to this one, so despite the low numbers and post count their is a lot of experience here. again welcome.

Hi Antoine, I'm glad you're here! Your trailer is really cute. Does the step come off for travel? I'm sure I would hit a post or something...

The only "travel" we've seen with this trailer is from the last owner's house to mine... but the little thing is so narrow I doubt it will be an issue. We've traveled with many other much larger hitched things behind us before!

I need to make a longer year - with more weekends - so I can fit more camping in!

It's mostly my husband... I have been doing a few things, but he's done 95%+ of it! I'll decorate after he's done... What do you think of the paint job? We have yet to repaint the primed white areas, and then put a bit of trim paint in between... I am toying with the idea of tiny flowers at the edge of the yellows both top and bottom near the center white strip...

I like the yellow paint! There may be a "bulge" on the street side just in front of the window. You might check the framing in that area. Could be a shadow too...

Thank you! We are working on the inside now,. and I get to take her on the maiden voyage next week... two weeks in Maryland at the Renaissance festival. I am excited! I'll post more pictures of the inside as soon as possible.
