Piped cushions are a little tricky. When sewing them its best to remember that the fabric normally gives a little but the piping (welt) doesn`t. So its best to hold the top and bottom fabric pieces tight and just let the welt feed though without pulling on it. Also cutting fabric a little shy of the size you actually need will help with a tight, crisp look. Hope this helps. They do look nice and I love your color choice.

I haven`t used that that particular one as I normally have a problem getting just the right shade so I make my own. Are you using all vinyl? If so it should be easy to sew up without puckers.

Yep that's the plan anyway, I was hoping the color matched up and it does. Hope to get started on them soon. My gaucho cushions I won't be using all vinyl so will end up making the homemade for them, but I thought the premade vinyl type would be a time saver and wasn't too badly priced either.

Bo and Susan...my puckers are actually from my upholstering job not from the sewing of the welt, that actually turned out pretty perfect. Lovin Vintage Making welt is not difficult, there's a link to a good you tube in my blog that has the tutorial.
