There is a video out I believe by Mobiletec, where Hemmet Valley is assembling roofing material into continuous roof assemblies, using a C type joint, and then pressing it. They used some sort of 3M sealant in the process. It wasn't shown in the video, but was commented about later. Is anyone aware of what that sealant was.

It's a white vinyl/butyl sealing tape of some type. It's very thin, and smashed with a roller into the ACME roof seam. It works, and does not leak. The ACME roof seam would still be a good "water tight" seal even without the extra tape. It's nice they take the extra protection on something so important. John
