We made this video hoping to save other vintage trailer rookies from the mistakes that we made (our initial project has not gone well). Feel free to share with any others new to working on trailers. youtu.be/uUgGA0HeAWg

It takes courage to acknowledge our errors, mistakes are learning opportunities. I hope you will continue to visit this site, it is the best resource available for everything vintage trailer. As Larry (mobiltec) says,"I make mistakes so you won't have to."

The good news is that #1 you figured out you couldn’t repair from the inside before you “finished” and had a freeway disaster, and #2 you learned how to do it right. Trailer restoration is always an adventure. Someday, years from now, you’ll sit around a campfire and laugh while recounting this story. You may not “enjoy” the journey, but I guarantee you’ll appreciate the trailer even more once you’re done with it!
Best wishes!
