The black fiberboard underneath the floor of My 66 go tag along, had a few bad spots in it. Where do I find replacements for this? I'm going to have to rebuild the floor, and wood frame, so everything has to go.

It used to be called Celotex fiberboard. Home Depot sells "sound board" that is the same thing. Coat on one side and lay sheets on the bare frame before framing the floor. (gooped side down) Black Beauty fence paint from Tractor Supply works well for coating.

Celotex is still available, but believe it's sold as Blue Ridge fiberboard. Not sure if it still has the black coating.

Celotex actually made many products. I guess the old timers were just used to calling it "Celotex" rather than a specific name...

The black celotox is still available as Vkix has said. I bought some to redo the floor of my 59 Shasta Airflyte. I now regret that decision! I redid the floor as it was from the factory using 1/2 in. celotox and 1/2 in. plywood but later decided to redo the floor to make it more solid. I then redid the floor with two 1/2 in. pieces of plywood thinking that they would match up to the existing middle section of the trailer. (I'm piecemealing my trailer instead of a frame off). This didn't work since the new inch of plywood was higher than the middle section of the trailer. I thought about it awhile and with a little help from Mobiltech and figured out that the celotex compressed over time and was no longer 1/2 in. in thickness. So this time (3rd time a charm) I decided to replace the original 1/2 in. plywood and 1/2 celotex with a 3/4 in. piece of plywood. This seemed to do the trick. It is not perfect but close enough to work with. It was worth the effort. I would not go back to the celotex material as shown due to the fact that it will compress over time and create other problems. Hope this helps.
